Mechanicsville, Virginia, March 8, 2021 – On Wednesday, April 21, the Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) will hold an open board meeting from 8:30 – 11:00am at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix, Arizona (Reservations: https://book.passkey.com/e/50174820). This will be the first live Open Board Meeting since January of 2020, and the board welcomes everyone wishing to learn more about the association’s ongoing activities. The meeting will include updates from SCRS staff, special presentations and updates from SCRS committees, sharing what they have undertaken on behalf of the membership.

The open meeting will also include the SCRS annual election for open seats on the board of directors. The election will be held during the open meeting, and ballot collection will close promptly at 11:00am when the meeting concludes.

In accordance with our bylaws, the nomination process closed on February 27, and there will be no nominations from the floor. This election will fill four (4) open board seats, and candidates include:

The election is open to current designated voting representatives of SCRS member businesses. In accordance with SCRS bylaws, members must be present to vote. SCRS will postpone the annual Industry Awards and Corporate Member Recognition lunch until such time that more corporate travel restrictions have lifted, allowing us to recognize our supporters properly. A list of our Corporate Members can be found online at https://scrs.com/corporate-members/.

There is no fee to attend, but SCRS asks guests who intend to join to please RSVP to info@scrs.com, so that we can set the room appropriately to accommodate for social distancing during the meeting.

VERY IMPORTANT: If you are not the designated voting representative for your organization, but wish to be the representative during this election, we will need a designation form sent back to our office before close of business on Wednesday, March 31st.
