Mechanicsville, Virginia, March 31, 2020 – Engagement in the industry and membership in organizations focused on advancement are critical for collision repair businesses positioning themselves for success in the future. The Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) and Spanesi Americas have collaborated to find ways to encourage new membership opportunities for collision repairers while also supporting the association’s longstanding members. The resulting offer represents one of the most unique membership drives of SCRS’ history.

During the SCRS Open Board meeting on July 14, 2021, in Cleveland, Ohio, SCRS and Spanesi will announce the winner of a
Touch electronic measuring system, including one year of Spanesi Touch electronic measuring system vehicle data. One lucky winner will be awarded the prize package with an MSRP exceeding $33,000.00!

The Spanesi Touch electronic measuring system provides collision repairers a solution to efficiently and accurately diagnose and repair vehicles. With the ability to measure a vehicle on any lift, frame rack, bench, or ground, technicians expertly can diagnose structural and cosmetic damage. During the repair process, the Touch provides live pulling information. Technicians generate graphical and tabular pre-repair and post-repair documentation to verify the vehicle is returned to OEM specifications.

To be eligible to win, you must be a General or Platinum member of SCRS, with a fully-paid active membership in place as of 5:00 pm EDT, Wednesday, June 30, 2021.

Current General Members will receive one (1) entry for every year they have been a member of the association, with a maximum of 20 entries.

Current Platinum Members will receive two (2) entries for every year they have been a Platinum Member of the association, with a maximum of 30 entries.

“We can never stress enough that the success Spanesi has enjoyed over the past 50+ years has been a result of both our innovative solutions for the marketplace and the collision repairers who were bold enough to seek out innovation for their businesses,” shared Timothy W. Morgan, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Spanesi Americas, Inc. “This industry needs collision repairers who prioritize safe and proper repairs and who make it a part of their culture to surround themselves with the people and the information necessary to accomplish those endeavors. We have been a longtime supporter of SCRS because we believe that associations like this do just that for the industry. This initiative is a way to spotlight an organization we believe is doing a tremendous amount of work supporting the collision repair industry and helping them give back to the membership they represent, whether they are long-tenured veterans of the association or new members bringing fresh perspectives and ideas.”

“When Spanesi approached us with the idea to give back in this manner, we were truly honored,” shared SCRS Chairman, Brett Bailey. “Giving back to this industry is just a fundamental part of our mission and what we do as an organization; and we couldn’t be more thrilled that our members, and our objectives have inspired this kind of thoughtful support. We truly hope that it serves as a way to recognize those who have been a part of the association for many decades, and equally inspires new businesses to come to the table and take part in member programs we’ve developed. There has never been a better or more important time to be part of this group, and we are honored every day that a new collision repair business joins and tells us it is because our work bringing information, education and advocacy to the industry resonates with their business.”

SCRS wishes tremendous luck to its member base, and encourages all past members to ensure they’ve renewed their 2021 dues, and all shops interested in joining to please visit www.scrs.com, call 1-877-841-0660 or email info@scrs.com.
