Thorough quality control occurs throughout the repair process, not just as a final inspection at the end of the repair. The objective is to ensure all tasks were completed well, and to the internal expectation. It’s not just important to inspect the work, but to ensure there has been thorough documentation of OEM procedures, weld quality, corrosion protection, and other steps than can affect the repair outcome. Amber and Erin discuss processes where there are defined milestones to allow for photo and video documentation of the tasks, the procedure and the products used in the repair. Milestones every time the repair moves to the next department allow for redundancy in validating repair quality.
