SCRS Releases Video of Todd Tracy: Anatomy of a Lawsuit Presentation from the 2017 SEMA Show

Prosser, Washington, February 22 , 2018 – The Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) has released a video from a 2017 Repairer Driven Education (RDE) session led by attorney Todd Tracy, lead counsel for the plaintiffs in Seebachan v. John Eagle Collision. The session, The Anatomy of a Lawsuit: The Crucial Details of the $42 Million Verdict focused on crucial details of the depositions, the trial, and the decision-making information presented to the jury that led to the precedent-setting verdict.

Earlier in the month, SCRS released another video of a panel discussion from the SCRS OEM Collision Repair Technology Summit that further elaborated on The Hidden Dangers of Vehicle Technology, Improper Repairs and Your Liability.

The panel also featured Tracy, who was joined by attorney Erica Eversman (Vehicle Information Services), Mark Allen (Audi of America), Aaron Clark (former repair shop owner) and moderated by technologist and author, John Ellis.

Understanding the intricacies of the case in Texas, understanding the liability implications as a result of repair decisions, and finding ways to mitigate that liability through good business practice is significant to collision repair business owners and operations.
