Mechanicsville, Virginia, March 7, 2021 – On Wednesday, April 13, active members of the Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) are invited to take part in the annual election for the SCRS Board of Directors. The election will begin at 5:15, following the open board meeting held at the Sheraton Oklahoma City Downtown (Reservations: https://www.marriott.com/events/start.mi?id=1643912003114&key=GRP). Ballot collection will close promptly at 6:00pm.

In accordance with our bylaws, the nomination process closed on February 26, and there will be no nominations from the floor.

This election will fill four (4) open board seats, and candidates include:

    Incumbents:

Rob Grieve
Nylund Collision (CO)

Dave Gruskos
Reliable Automotive Equipment (NJ)

    New Nominees:

Kris Burton
Rosslyn Auto Body (VA)

Josh McFarlin
AirPro Diagnostics (FL)

Erin Solis
Certified Collision Group (CO)

The election is open to current, designated voting representatives of SCRS member businesses. In accordance with SCRS bylaws, members must be present to vote. To join as a member of SCRS to participate in the upcoming election, contact the association office at info@scrs.com or join online at www.scrs.com/join-scrs.

VERY IMPORTANT: If you are not the designated voting representative for your organization, but wish to be the representative during this election, we will need a designation form sent back to our office before the close of business on Thursday, March 31st. The form can be found online by clicking here.

The voting process will also present members the opportunity to approve of SCRS converting from an Illinois nonprofit corporation to a nonprofit, nonstock corporation in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The conversion is beneficial to the association, as the administration of the association is located in Virginia, and the association has no remaining resources in Illinois. We have attached the Plan of Domestication (the “Plan”) for members to review in advance of the vote.
