Mechanicsville, Virginia, October 18, 2024 – Reliable Automotive Equipment Inc. and Wielander + Schill have partnered in support of the Society of Collision Repair Specialists’ (SCRS) Repairer Driven Education (RDE) series and the OEM Collision Repair Technology Summit.
The education programs are held during the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, Tuesday November 5 – Friday November 8.

“All of us at RAE are thrilled to be able to sponsor the RDE and OEM Summit events at SEMA,” shared Dave Gruskos, President at RAE Inc. “The RDE classes are the true jackpot of the show, providing invaluable insights and education that push the collision repair industry forward. I’ve been fortunate to see the program develop as a speaker, as a sponsor and in my time on the SCRS board. Supporting these events is an easy decision for us because it directly reflects our commitment to advancing the skills and knowledge of repair professionals, and because we understand how the association is using this amazing platform they’ve developed with SEMA, to advance the industry in alignment with those goals.”
“In our partnership with Dave and RAE we’ve watched the Collision Repair section of the SEMA Show evolve around this delivery of education,” added Maured Bauer, Wieländer+Schill Managing Director. “We see this as an opportunity to support our customers who are interested in expanding their knowledge. Our customers invest in advanced equipment which allows them to work on sophisticated vehicles, and programs like the OEM Collision Repair Technology Summit align perfectly with that type of work and business.”
The OEM Collision Repair Technology Summit is slated for Thursday during the SEMA Show, featuring three distinctly different discussions about sophisticated advancements in the automotive and collision repair fields. The 2024 event will highlight sessions on repair procedure development and validation, telematics and how it is evolving consumer experience, and the utilization of laser welding in the manufacturing process.
The Summit is intended to shine a light on emerging trends that influence vehicle repairability and collision industry preparation.
