Mechanicsville, Virginia, March 10, 2026 – The Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) announced that the Mountain States Collision Repair Association (MSCRA) has joined the organization as an Affiliate Association, strengthening collaboration and support for collision repair professionals across Colorado and Utah.

Founded in 2023, MSCRA was established to provide a platform that fosters collaboration, education, and advocacy within the collision repair industry. The association focuses on delivering efficient, cost-effective resources that support safe and proper repairs while helping industry professionals connect, learn, and grow together.
As a developing association, MSCRA sees affiliation with SCRS as an opportunity to learn from established organizations and strengthen its ability to serve members.
“We are grateful to be an affiliate association of SCRS,” said Megan Mueller, MSCRA President and co-founder. “There are many inspirational organizations within the SCRS affiliate network, and we’re excited to grow alongside them.”
MSCRA is focused on expanding access to education and encouraging knowledge-sharing among collision repair professionals.
“We are looking to get education about safe and proper repairs out to our members and create opportunities for them to learn from each other,” Mueller said. “There are many varied challenges in our industry, and we believe that shops can benefit tremendously by sharing their experiences, building connections, and accessing resources that help them succeed.”
The association currently hosts a monthly webinar featuring industry professionals and plans to continue building programming that supports collaboration and professional development.
“While we are still new, we’re proud of what we’ve already brought to our members and look forward to delivering even more education and opportunities for connection,” Mueller added. “The more the industry shares knowledge and experience, the more confident everyone can be in the direction they take their business and career.”
SCRS Executive Director Aaron Schulenburg welcomed MSCRA into the affiliate network.
“We’re excited to welcome the Mountain States Collision Repair Association as an SCRS Affiliate,” Schulenburg said. “I’m always so inspired to watch leaders emerge in markets that need a voice and find ways to build something special through collaboration with their peers, for the industry we are all a part of. Everyone involved in forming and advancing the Mountain States initiative has demonstrated such a passion for education, and a commitment to advancing the collision repair industry in a way that reflects the very heart of what the affiliate community represents. We’re excited to work alongside them and support their continued growth as they build meaningful opportunities for their members and the broader industry.”
As an Affiliate Association, MSCRA will participate in SCRS initiatives designed to strengthen collaboration among regional organizations and support the advancement of the collision repair profession nationwide.
