2025 SEMA SHOW SKILLVERI “REFINISH/WELDING” CONTEST FROM SCRS BOOTH
NO PURCHASE OR DONATION IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN
- SPONSORING ORGANIZATION AND PRIZES:
Skillveri Inc, USA is solely responsible for conducting the contest, overseeing contest scoring and determining the finalists. Skillveri Inc, USA is also a contributing sponsor for first, second and third place prize packages.
Society of Collision Repair Specialists is a contributing sponsor for first, second and third place prize packages.
Southern California Collision Equipment is a contributing sponsor for second place prize packages.
Milwaukee Tool® is a contributing sponsor for third place prize packages.
Skillveri Inc, USA, Society of Collision Repair Specialists, Southern California Collision Equipment, and Milwaukee Tool are each a “Sponsor” and collectively, the “Sponsors” of this contest.
- PRIZE
Conference attendees meeting the eligibility requirements set forth below (“Entrants”) and pursuant to these official rules (“Official Rules”), shall be included in the contest, with winners announced 11:30am PST on Friday, November 7th, 2025 (“Deadline”).
First, Second and Third place (“Finalists”) contest winners in Refinish and Welding categories will receive a “Full Series Pass” to SCRS Repairer Driven Education (“SCRS Education”) at the 2026 SEMA Show. This will be for SCRS Education participation only, and will not include any costs related to travel to and attendance at the 2026 show.
In addition, Finalists will each be awarded the opportunity to appoint a U.S. based automotive trade school program to receive the following tool packages (“Packages”):
1st Place Finalists: Can appoint a school to receive lifetime Skillveri VR/MR license with full hardware kit.
Welding: Perpetual (lifetime) Skillveri Specialist VR/MR welding software license + Hardware kit which includes VR headset & controllers, 1 industry grade MIG Welding gun, Laptop with screencasting software, Backpack and carry case (all provided by Skillveri.)
Refinish: Perpetual (lifetime) Skillveri Specialist VR/MR Spray Painting software license + Hardware kit which includes VR headset & controllers, 1 industry grade AirSpray Painting gun, Laptop with screencasting software, Backpack and carry case (all provided by Skillveri.)
2nd Place Finalists: Can appoint a school to receive 1-year Skillveri license with hardware kit plus a Fronius Fortis welding machine provided by SCCE.
Welding: 1 Year Skillveri Specialist VR/MR welding software license + Hardware kit which includes VR headset & controllers, Laptop with screencasting software, Backpack and carry case (all provided by Skillveri), plus a Fronuius Fortis 270 C MIG/MAG welder (provided by Southern California Collision Equipment.)
Refinish: 1 Year Skillveri Specialist VR/MR Spray Painting software license + Hardware kit which includes VR headset & controllers, Laptop with screencasting software, Backpack and carry case (all provided by Skillveri), plus a Fronuius Fortis 270 C MIG/MAG welder (provided by Southern California Collision Equipment.)
3rd Place Finalists: Can appoint a school to receive Skillveri Fundamentals license plus a premium Milwaukee Tool® kit.

The Finalists will not be the direct recipients of the Packages and have no rights in the Packages themselves.
The Finalists are competing to receive the Full Series Pass and to appoint a U.S. based automotive trade school program to receive one of the Packages.
All of the prizes are provided as-is and upon appointing the prizes, no Sponsor will have any further obligation to the winner.
Sponsor bears all responsibility for transportation or shipping charges to transport a prize to appointed educational program.
- ELIGIBILITY:
No purchase or donation is necessary to enter or win the contest. Directors, officers, employees, and agents of Skillveri, Inc USA, and the immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their spouses) of each of the foregoing, are not eligible. To be eligible to win, contest entries must be recorded at the SCRS Booth by 4:30pm PST on Thursday, November 6th. Entrants must be a valid conference attendee, with an official SEMA Show badge.
Competitions will run daily from 9:30–11:30 a.m. and 1:00–4:30 p.m.
Any potential winner may be required to show proof of being the individual who competed, and must meet eligibility requirements stated herein.
- HOW TO ENTER:
To enter the contest, attendees can visit the SCRS Booth 31147 in Upper South Hall of the SEMA Show to participate in the virtual reality competition in either the refinish category, welding category, or both. Skillveri will allow visitors to perform tasks in the competition area, and a score will be produced and logged in the contest. At the completion of the contest Skillveri will use competition results to determine the “Best Welder,” “Best Refinisher” and the second and third place finalists.
Sponsors assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries.
By entering into this contest, each Entrant specifically understands, acknowledges and agrees to these Official Rules and warrants that he/she meets the eligibility requirements listed above.
- WINNER NOTIFICATION:
Entrants do not need to be present at the time of the contest to win. Sponsors will notify the Finalists within twenty-four (24) hours of his or her selection as a contest winner. Finalists must respond and provide all information requested by Sponsor. Return of prize notification as undeliverable , failure to provide contact information, or other information requested by Sponsor may result in disqualification and an alternate winner may, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, be selected from among all remaining eligible entries. If a Finalist cannot be contacted or does not respond to Sponsor within twenty-four (24) hours from the date and time of Sponsor’s first notification, such Finalist forfeits all rights to win or receive any of the prizes, and an alternate Finalist may, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, be selected from all remaining eligible entries.
- PARTICIPATION:
By entering into the contest, each Entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsors which shall be final and binding in all matters relating to the contest. The Sponsors do not warrant that the contest is valid in any particular state or jurisdiction and Entrant bears all responsibility for complying with all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations. Except where legally prohibited, each Finalist grants (and agrees to confirm the grant in writing) permission for the Sponsors and those acting under their authority, to use his/her name, photograph, and voice and/or likeness, for advertising, trade, and/or publicity purposes related to the contest without additional compensation.
- WINNERS’ RESPONSIBILITY FOR TAXES:
The schools that have been appointed to receive the prize are solely responsible for any and all expenses, and applicable federal, state and local taxes. School recipients should expect to receive a tax form 1099 for the value of the Packages in accordance with current tax laws. No Prize can be redeemed for cash or replaced if lost or stolen. Sponsor reserves the right to replace and/or substitute a like prize of equal value, should the specified Package, be unavailable, for any reason.
- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
By participating, Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages. Sponsors and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents do not have and will not have any liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless against any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to persons, or property resulting in or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in the SCRS booth drawing, contest, or related activity; or for any typographical or other error in the printing, offering or announcement of any prize. Should a court of law find a Sponsor liable for loss or damage, any such loss or damage will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the contest, and in no event shall any Sponsor be liable for attorney’s fees. Sponsors and their affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents will have no liability whatsoever for entries that are late, incomplete or not received for any reason.
SPONSORS MAKE NO WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS OR GUARANTEES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN FACT OR IN LAW, AS REGARDING CONTEST OR THE MERCHANTABILITY, QUALITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE REGARDING THE PRIZES OR ANY COMPONENT OF THE PRIZES.
- GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION:
All issues concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and/or enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of Entrants in connection with the contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware without giving any effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other state’s laws. By entering into the contest, each Entrant consents to the sole jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Delaware.
